Illuminati 2019 Beers
Illuminati Release #1 (2019):
Release Date: Sunday, February 24th
Imperial chocolate stout aged for 3 years in bourbon barrels
Brandied cherries and bitter orange on the nose. The flavor up front is reminiscent of coffee cake with hints of cinnamon and almonds, with a dry, roasty finish and a pleasant oaky backbone. Dangerously mellow for a 12% ABV beer.
The Illuminati 2019 releases are for members only. If you are interested in becoming a member so you can receive these limited edition beers, stay tuned for our 2020 Illuminati membership sign-up which we will be announcing at the end of this year.
We are amped on this delicious bourbon barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout. It spent time aging in One-8 barrels and is tasting amazing. The huge malt component of this beer is complemented very nicely with notes of oak and bourbon. It opens up with big roasted chocolate and coffee notes that wander across the palate with a solid viscous mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and slightly sweet with a pronounced, but pleasant, alcohol burn on the end leaving you wanting to dive back in for more. Ringing in at an impressive 12%abv, it is still amazingly drinkable and extremely dangerous. Perfect to cellar for the colder months, or enjoy in the comfort of your air conditioning, definitely not a lawnmower beer as we would recommend avoiding heavy machinery while imbibing.
is a barrel-aged stout conditioned with vanilla beans, coffee, lactose and tangerine puree and comes in at a whopping 10.5%. This beer comes across as a holiday favorite, like a milk chocolate orange ball from your childhood. Greets you first on the nose with vanilla and coffee, followed by a full mouthfeel of rich chocolate and a subtle orange finish. Perfect for cellaring or sharing with the fam over the holidays.
is an imperial stout aged in barrels for four months and conditioned with chocolate, vanilla, and habanero peppers. Not for the faint of heart, this intensely spicy beer clocks in at just above 10.5%.
is an imperial Schwarzbier aged in barrels for three months and conditioned with vanilla. A smooth drinking 10% dark lager, this beer has subtle notes of chestnuts, dark caramel, and raisins.
Funkerdome Society 2019 Beers

American sour aged for 14 months in white wine barrels.
White peach and citrus on the nose, this delicately spritzy sour displays characteristics of lime, sweet hay, and stone fruit with a lingering yet restrained acidic finish. 7.5% ABV.
The Funkerdome 2019 releases are for members only. If you are interested in becoming a member so you can receive these limited edition beers, stay tuned for our 2020 Funkerdome membership sign-up which we will be announcing at the end of this year.
We have the 2nd release of 2019 bottled up and ready to go. We are very stoked on both releases and look forward to sharing them with you.
is a sour blend of 18-month barrel-aged sours in white wine barrels that comes in at a tasty 8%. Huge notes of oak and wine with a consistent tart funky character. After the initial punch of tartness you delve deeper into a complexity that makes the mind swirl and begs for another sip. Always progressing further and further as it develops and warms in the glass, this beer will certainly provoke discussion and contemplation as you experience all the layers that make it a truly unique drinking experience.
is a sour lager aged in barrels for 13 months, 7 months of which were spent on cherries. The result is a balanced, lightly fruity, refreshing spin on a kriek. 7.7%
is a companion beer to #4 and an experiment designed to create a kirsch beer while just using traditional ingredients (ie no fruit or other adjuncts). Aged for one year in barrels, this American take on a kriek is tarter and intensely fruity. 8%
